The first in a series of eight Mid Week Evening matches took place on Wednesday 20th June on C Section of Dock River.With a good turn out of Club members competing on a sunny and warm evening and the river in fine condition, everyone was looking for the bonus bream in their swims. With everyone putting fish in their nets, at the weigh-in it was Graham Hazelton on peg 16, fishing the pole who came out on top with a winning weight of 4lbs 8ozs of skimmers and silver fish. In second place was John Pettitt on peg 14 with 3lbs 15ozs of silver fish and third was Russell Foulger on peg 12 with 2lbs 11ozs of silver fish
