The third in the series of eight Mid Week Evening matches took place on Wednesday 4th July on C Section of Dock River. On an overcast, windy and raining evening and the river flowing, all anglers knew it was going to be a tough match in these conditions. Although there were good signs of fish movement all along the river, it was going to be the bonus fish that the anglers would be looking for. With everyone catching fish, when all the results came in it was Paul Chambers on peg 10 who won the match comfortably with 10lbs 11ozs of skimmers, perch, eel and silver fish. In second place was Graham Hazelton on peg 8 with 2lbs 14ozs of skimmers and silver fish and in third place was Laurie Snell on peg 12 with 2lbs 1ozs of skimmers and silver fish.
