The fourth in the series of eight Mid Week Evening matches took place on C Section of Dock River. These silver fish only matches are continuing to draw a good turn out of club anglers. On a dry, mild, overcast evening with occasional sunny periods and the river looking in fine colour, everyone was looking for a good close match. Although all anglers put fish in their nets, at the final whistle it was Paul Chambers on peg 12 who won the match with 3lbs 7ozs of perch, hybrid skimmer and silver fish. In joint second place were John Pettitt and Harold Griffiths on pegs 6 and 8 respectively each with 2lbs 6ozs of skimmers and silver fish.
