EASTERN REGION SHIELD

Harwich Angling Club on Saturday traveled to the Milton Keynes to fish in the annual National Federation of Anglers (NFA) Eastern Region Shield match on the Grand Union Canal. With their strongest team of eight anglers available, when the results came in it was to be not good news for the Club. Only two of the team managed to get into double figure points, 19 and 12, towards the team total of 57 points which put the Club into finishing in a lowly 22nd place. The Club will certainly be looking to improve on this disappointing result next year
