The first in a series of six Mid Week Evening club matches took place during the week on C pegs section of Dock River. With a good turn out of club members competing on a sunny and warm evening, with the river looking in great condition thanks to the efforts of our Fisheries Officer and a group of Members putting in lots of hours on many working parties, everyone was looking for the bonus bream in their swims for this silver fish only match. With everyone putting fish in their nets, at the weigh-in it was Graeme Edgar (C23 peg) fishing the pole who came out on top with a winning weight of 3lbs 10ozs of silver fish. In joint second place were Harold Griffiths (C25 peg) and Paul Chambers (C19 peg) both with 2lbs 4ozs of silver fish, closely followed in fourth place by Keith Allen (C27 peg) with 2lbs 3ozs.
