Harwich Angling Club held the third in a series of six Mid Week Evening club matches during the week on C pegs section of Dock River. This very popular 3 hour silver fish evening match is still getting good turn outs from members. Fishing the section of river from C20 to C34 on a warm and sunny evening, with the river looking in good condition, everyone was hoping for the bonus bream, skimmers, tench or eels in their swims.
With every angler putting fish in their nets, at the weigh-in it was Paul Chambers (C26 peg) fishing the pole close in the margins and down the middle who came out on top with a winning weight of 3lbs 10ozs of silver fish and a bonus eel. In second place was Graeme Edgar (C28 peg) with 2lbs 9.5ozs of silver fish with Keith Allen (C22 peg) closely following in third place with 2lbs 8ozs. In fourth place was Duncan Wrigley (C20 peg) with 1lbs 7ozs.
